There are infinite known and unknown dimensions of life. Indeed, Life can expand infinitely
Interestingly, But if we talk of a common man, this question of how not to remain confined in 4 walled mind never arises in an ordinary person.
An ordinary person remains confined in his 4 walled mind and that part too is borrowed from others,
it is an imitation, there is nothing original.
This means that a person who could have lived a great life dies living a petty life,
and this is the reason for depression, dissatisfaction and unhappiness in his life.
And the reason for this is that he lives in the small sphere of his 4 walled mind. Only after coming out of his mind can he expand himself infinitely.
The work of a Guru is to free you from the constraints
And not let you remain confined in 4 walled mind so that you can attain your existence as a whole,
this process of infinite expansion is the spiritual journey.
– Guru Purna Vistar
#This is the English translation of original Hindi talk by Guru Purna given in picture below.
4 walled mind means the identities of a person held tightly ,believing them to be ultimate.
Also, Whatever mind has known till date comes in walls of mind.
And, A person clings to their beliefs very intensely and this is remaining imprisoned in mind.
To clarify further, Too much attachment to the experiences of past are also extensions of slavery of mind.
Remaining immersed in the people in immediate vicinity can also keep you bound to the mind.
Those nearby crowds usually never let you see something new.
The mind keeps you imprisoned and your association with people stuck in mind also makes you a prisoner.
Only a Guru can take you beyond mind and let you encounter infinity directly.
